First, let's take a look at the box. It's your standard Jordan 4 box, adorned with those iconic black speckles and "Flight" across the top. What stands out this time is the Jump man replacing the "i," and it's in red, perfectly matching the Red Cement theme. No frills or fancy extras here – it's all about the shoes.
Quality Assessment
Now, let's talk about what matters most – the shoes themselves. The Red Cement 4s deliver on aesthetics, but let's dive deeper into the details. Starting with the sockliner, it's the usual all-black nylon, which feels just like any other Jordan 4. No surprises there.
Moving to the insole, it's also black, but this time, the Jumpman is in red. Simple and classy.
Uppers and Colorway
The majority of the uppers feature a clean, white tumbled leather. While it's not the thickest leather we've felt, it's certainly not the worst either. It's all about the right balance. Thicker tumbled leather usually signifies higher quality, and this pair falls somewhere in the middle.
Jordan Brand kept things clean and minimalistic with the Red Cement 4s. There's not an overwhelming contrast in colors. White laces complement the mesh panels on the sides, and even the tongue is mostly white, featuring the Flight Jumpman tag with a red Jumpman in black. The eye stays and back heel tab are in solid black, providing the perfect contrast to make those red cement details pop.
Speaking of red, it makes appearances on the Jordan 4 wings, the back heel tab, and those eye-catching red cement splatter marks that give the shoe its name.
Midsole and Air Unit
The midsole is where you'll find the largest panel of red on these sneakers. It wraps around the toe box and extends slightly onto the sides. Again, the black splatter marks give it that signature red cement look. The black panel is a strategic addition to provide a striking contrast with the predominantly white and black upper.
The midsole also houses the clear air bubble, an essential element in any Jordan 4.
Outsole and Final Touches
